RESORT VALLE DELL’ERICA ***** at VALLE DELL' ERICA (OT)

In a unique position, a few metres from breathtaking beaches with pure white sand and rocks sculpted by the wind over time, and immersed in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the whole of Sardinia, is the Valle dell ‘Erica Resort. The first part of the Valle dell’ Erica, which was the first tourist village created in Sardinia, was built in 1958 (when it was still possible to build a few metres from the sea) by the valley owner, a pioneer of Sardinian tourism. Thanks to the beauty of the place and the quality of the construction, ( for which it was awarded recognition by the President of the Republic), during the 1960s Valle dell’Erica became one of  the most “trendy” places and often had famous guests, even Princes and Kings. It was completely rebuilt in 2005 by Delphina who, in full respect for the fabulous natural setting surrounding it and in harmony with the style of the original village as created by the founder, transformed it into a Resort equipped with every comfort, with the objective of offering the by now rare sensation of a natural but exclusive holiday (just like in the past). Among the prestigious services on offer there is the enchanting Thalasso and Wellness Centre, a marvellous area designed to produce a sense of wellbeing and surrounded by nature and incredible granite rocks. The SPA covers an area of around 1,600 sq. metres and has four external multi-purpose heated sea water pools for the Thalasso circuit, thirteen elegant and light-filled chalets for Thalassotherapy treatments, massage and beauty treatments, Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area and cardio fitness gym. The 140 rooms and junior suites have all been rebuilt at a distance of between 100 and 200 metres from the sea. All rooms are on the ground floor and have independent entrances, decorated in Mediterranean fashion by the most renowned stylists. They all have covered and fully-equipped verandas, bathroom with shower and hair-dryer, air conditioning, telephone, SKY TV, safe, mini-bar, towelling robes for adults and beach towels. It is a genuine oasis of relaxation and pleasure for couples, thanks to the many places and spaces where privacy is always guaranteed, the numerous bays and inlets within walking distance, the romantic rooms with panoramic yet private verandas. Nevertheless, the Resort is also a perfect place for families, thanks to the many safe open spaces where children can play without disturbing adults, the large and well-equipped “Ericaland” mini-club, designed and created to delight children and give peace of mind to adults. There is a bottle-feeding preparation service open 24 hours a day, a nursery, protected play area with equipped areas both outside and inside, Soft Areas, a rest (or nap) room, Restaurant Room, Cinema space and Creative Areas and a swimming pool. Guests may also use the 3 hole Pitch & Putt and 18 hole Putt & Putt within the Resort. Four restaurants (including one on the beach) offer cuisine that is creative but also rich in local traditions. After dinner, in the Resort central square, there are amusing evening entertainments with live music and occasional shows.
